Editorial Policy
Our principles for independent, accurate, and transparent content.
Independence First
Rankly is an independent editorial platform. No broker, trading platform, or financial institution has any influence over our ratings, rankings, or review content. We do not accept payment for favorable reviews, higher rankings, or featured placement.
Our editorial team makes all decisions about what to review, how to score it, and where to rank it. Affiliate relationships do not influence these decisions. If a broker performs poorly in our tests, we say so — regardless of any commercial relationship.
Core Editorial Principles
Accuracy
We verify every fact, fee, and regulatory claim against primary sources. Spreads and commissions are tested live. Regulation is checked directly with regulator databases.
Transparency
We disclose how we score, how we test, and what data we use. Every review page includes a methodology link, testing date, and data sources.
Fairness
We apply the same scoring system to every broker. No broker gets special treatment. We compare apples to apples across all 10 scoring categories.
Timeliness
We update reviews quarterly and immediately when significant changes occur (fee changes, new regulation, country restrictions). Every page shows a last-updated date.
Reader-First
Our content is written for traders, not search engines. We prioritize clarity, usefulness, and honest recommendations over keyword optimization.
Content Review Process
Research & Testing
Our analysts test the broker with real accounts and live data. They collect screenshots, timing data, and fee records.
Draft Writing
The analyst writes the review with all data points, scores, and findings. No copy from the broker is used.
Editor Review
A senior editor reviews the draft for accuracy, clarity, tone, and compliance with our editorial standards.
Fact Check
A separate fact-checker verifies all regulatory claims, fee data, and promotional terms against official sources.
Publication
The review is published with full author attribution, testing dates, data sources, and disclosure statements.
Corrections & Feedback
We are committed to accuracy. If you spot an error in our content, please report it immediately. We investigate all correction requests and publish corrections transparently.
